Ocala, FL (January 14, 2013) – Learn how to bridge the gap between current science and every day application at The Ranch Fitness Center & Spa. The new Wellness Academy will offer a series of sessions that include opportunities to support fitness education, hands-on training and lifestyle management. The Academy’s goal is to assist in achieving optimum health by embracing the multiple dimensions of wellness as well as empowering you in your health and fitness goals.

The Wellness Academy will offer flexible days and times that will fit everyone’s schedule:
  • Session 1 (8 weeks): Wednesdays, 6pm – 7:30pm from January 16, 2013 to March 6, 2013
  • Session 2 (8 weeks): Wednesdays, 12pm – 1:30pm from February 20, 2013 to April 10, 2013
  • Session 3 (4 weeks): Thursdays, 1pm – 4pm from March 7, 2013 to March 28, 2013

    Each session includes courses such as Stress Management, Nutrition, Exercise Prescription, Lifestyle Behaviors and Options and the Wellness Compass with Goal Setting. You will also receive a fitness assessment with a personal trainer, a spa treatment, a healthy cooking demonstration and meal, small group training sessions and much more.
