Nearly 2,000 acres (809 hectares) on a wooded peninsula with two miles of shoreline.
The 8,000 square-foot Clubhouse features a spacious living room, pro shop, grille-style dining room, outdoor porch and patios overlooking the 18th green, fire pit and fireplaces, and an event lawn for weddings, tournaments and group gatherings.
The public par-72 Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course overlooks the Potomac River, offering 18 holes, native wetland buffers and over 200 feet of elevation changes. It was named “Golfweek’s Best: State-by-State Courses You Can Play, 2016,” and one of the “Top 10 Best New Courses in the Country” by Golf Digest, 2015.
The Shores Club
The 13,000 square-foot indoor/outdoor hub reserved for member families includes a Social Barn with a living room/lounge, outdoor dining patio, demonstration kitchen and 9,400 square-foot event lawn, and a Fitness Barn with a fully equipped gym, movement studio, yoga garden, locker rooms, showers and changing rooms. Members also have access to a community garden, an eight-lane competition pool with amphitheater-style viewing areas and a family pool with a sundeck, cabanas, kids’ splash pool and snack bar.

A new elementary school for 900 K-5 students with 19 acres of modern classrooms and grass practice fields opens fall 2017. The future 33-acre campus middle school will serve grades 6-8 in an innovative environment. Nearby public and private schools include the prestigious Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School.
Current amenities include a Canoe Club with a 100-foot pier, plus two tot lots. Planned amenities include neighborhood parks, playgrounds and a community sports complex with multipurpose fields, a softball field, Little League fields and a tot lot.

A Virginia Railway Express station will be located within the future town center for convenience and walkability. The closest VRE stop is minutes away in Rippon Landing.
