Club Structure

Callawassie Island’s recently updated membership structure simplifies membership, eliminates all miscellaneous fees and charges, includes extended family and allows members to pay for only what they use. Every resident member has access to the dining and meeting facilities, fitness center, tennis center, pools, community docks and golf practice facilities. Either an Unlimited Golf or pay-as-you play option may be selected on an annual basis.

Access to 24-hour urgent care and other medical services is as close as the Hilton Head Regional Medical Center and the Coastal Carolina Medical Center in nearby Hardeeville. Several major regional hospitals are located about half an hour from the development in Savannah, Georgia.

Callawassie Island, SC (September 26, 2017) – A thousand runners and walkers gathered on Callawassie Island on Saturday in support of Pledge the Pink, a three-day breast cancer awareness event. Each participant donned spunky pink attire as they wound their way through ten miles of the community in an event that more closely resembled a party than a traditional fundraising race.
