We named this intimate enclave "Rafter's Roost" after the abundance of wild turkey that call Old Wildlife Club home.  (Like a "gaggle" of geese or a "murder" of crows, a "rafter" is the name for a group of turkey. ) With the community's many viewing meadows, an afternoon or evening of nature-watching is always a relaxing activity. 

The Rafter's Roost homesites (also including lots 58, 59 and 60) offer flat, accommodating building envelopes that make it easy to create your mountain retreat -- whether you want to build your vision right away or start with one of our smaller cabin plans and expand when you're ready. 

Each homesite in Rafter's Roost enjoys a dedicated boat slip in a community dock.  These slips are complete and ready to for your use immediately. 

Finally, owners of these lots are automatically members of our lakeside adventure center, Camp Lake James, directly across the water from Old Wildlife Club.
