The Creek Preserve includes camp sites, a stone pavilion, bath house, and the Anderson family homestead ruins. The community also offers a playground and community gardens and is convenient to rivers for whitewater rafting.
Biking Trails Residents can ride their bikes on single-track trails and old logging and wagon roads. Gilmer County hosts national mountain biking events each year in the Cohutta Wilderness and Aska Trails area.
Golf Nearby Eighteen hole public golf courses are in Ellijay, Blairsville and Dahlonega.
Fishing Anderson Lake offers bass and bream and Anderson Creek offers catch and release fly-fishing for native Brown and Rainbow trout. Nearby trout waters include the Tickanetley and Noontootla Creeks and the Cartecay and Toccoa River.
